Cardiatec wins second place in prestigious life science competition
Tel Aviv, Dec. 24, 2007 — Cardiatec took second place in the prestigious "Most Promising Enterprise in Life Science" competition of 2007. The competition was organized by the Life Science Accelerator and the biomed group Shizim, and held in cooperation with the Israel Life Science Institute (ILSI), the Israel Export & International Cooperation Institute, and a number of business partners. After an extensive selection process, 10 companies were chosen to present their technologies to a panel of experts in science, business, and technology. Walk Care won the competition; Arbel Medical took third place. The winning company received up to $25,000 of professional services and business assistance.
